Couple of times I got distracted in the baseball analogy. <br /><br />The most interesting paragraph is at the end:<br /><br />"Okay, you've worked your way through the minor leagues. You've acquired the basic skills. You've put in the time studying. You've moved through the processes past default expectations. You're ready to engage haiku on its highest level—you're ready for Haiku as Poetry.
