Carpe Diem #271, Morning Celebration

Good day dear Haijin, visitors and travelers,

Sometimes I am in lack of inspiration, so I am glad that I have a few other blogs to share haiku with you after publishing our daily haiku prompts. E.g. Earthsong was a wonderful piece of music, but I hadn't inspiriation nor the words to display my thoughts. So tomorrow I have written a haiku on that episode and posted it in the linking widget. I hope you enjoyed reading my haiku inspired on the wonderful music by Karunesh.
Today we have another great musical piece by him. It's called Morning Celebration and the first thing I was thinking of was an earlier episode The Day Begins today is a very similar piece of music, but with more joy and happiness I think. It's more of a celebration of the new day. Every day we are given is a day to celebrate. There are a lot of people who cannot celebrate a new day, because they are without a job or lonely. So, dear friends, enjoy and celebrate every new day and maybe this wondeful piece of music can help you with that. (This video was made by xgale )

Every day is a day to be grateful for all the things we were given. Be grateful for the food and drinks you have on your table, be grateful of the lovewhich is in your life. Be grateful for every day, because every day can be your last.

a new day rises
the song of birds awakening me
brings joy to my heart

a new day rises
be grateful for what is given -
the meadow blossoms

a new day rises
I awake next to the one I love -
she's my richness

A bit sentimental maybe, but I am grateful that I may awake next to my wife and to see how she's smiling at me. I am grateful for the kids and grandkids I am given. I am grateful for the work I do. My life has become a fairytale and I enjoy it very much. (PS. I am a bit behind with commenting and the next few days I will be in the nightshift. So I will post earlier then the other days. Forgive me.)

This episode will stay on 'till August 15th 11.59 AM (CET) and I will post our next episode, Blessings Rain, later on today around 7.00 PM (CET). Lean back, listen to the music and enjoy every new day. Go with the flow, become one with the music and be inspired to write and share your haiku with us all here on Carpe Diem. !! Morning Celebration is open for submissions at 7.00 PM (CET) !!
