Carpe Diem Special #102, Jim Kacian's 3rd "falling leaves"

!! I publish this episode earlier than I normally do, because I am in the nightshift !!

Dear Haijin, visitors and travelers,

Another week has gone and it's time for a new episode of our CD Special in which the featured haiku-poet for this month is Jim Kacian, co-founder of the The Haiku Foundation and owner of Red Moon Press, specialized in publishing of haiku anthologies and other haiku-books.

Jim has written wonderful haiku in his own gorgeous style. I have sought for a nice one (again) and I think I have found a really nice haiku situated in autumn and very strong in it's imagery. You have to look and read it for yourself twice, maybe three times, to understand it. This haiku you just have to see in front of your eyes and the feeling of awe will overwhelm you.

This episode is open for your submissions tonight at 7.00 PM (CET) and will remain open until August19th at noon (CET). I will try to post our nex episode, Inner Self, later on. For now ... just have fun, be inspired and share your inspired haiku, in the same sense, tone and spirit as the one by Jim Kacian, with us all.

  1. Such an interesting form of poetry. I am not versed enough in this beautiful, concise form to feel comfortable yet. I aspire to use your blog to learn more.
