Welcome!
A new try to revive our CDHK community. A new chapter as you can read in the title of this post. I can hear you think "a new chapter? After so long?" Yes a new chapter.
That new chapter has to do with the growth of Artificial Intelligence Art. As you (maybe) know I am an AI Artist too next to our passion haiku, tanka and other Japanese poetry forms. I love to create AI Art, and in my opinion AI Art is real Art, because it sounds easy, but you need to know how to write a good text-prompt, you need to know about all the different art styles we know, and you have to know a lot about painters. So AI Art isn't easy.
The image above I created with AI and it needed a very complex text-prompt to get what I wanted. Next to that, sometimes an AI Art piece looks different as does the one above. It leaves you with your own interpretation. What does it show? Why these colors? What did the AI artist strive for? All questions you can ask yourself.
AI Art is hot and that's the reason why I introduce to you all a new Theme here at our Carpe Diem Haiku Kai ...
Our new "chapter" or new "challenge" is titled "Haiku and AI-Art" and today I have our first challenge "Mystical Forest". Create a haiku or tanka inspired on the given AI Art Piece above.
