Carpe Diem #483, Being Lazy

Dear Haijin, visitors and travelers,

Our yesterday's post 'after loving' was a bit to ... I thought, but I have read wonderful responses on this first prompt of June. I hope you did like the post and that you will gonna like this new post, being lazy.

Being lazy is a real summer-kigo, because when it's hot and the sun is shining bright than everyone likes to be lazy. Go with the flow, going on the easy way ... at least that's what I do when it's a hot summer day.

Jane gives the following examples for this kigo:

picking up sleep
where you left it at dawn
afternoon nap

sun from the east
ocean waves from the west
our entertainment

Two wonderfully composed haiku which are saying it in a nice way. I hope I can do it in the same way.

just being lazy

just being lazy
laying under only a sheet

all sweaty and being lazy -

A nice cascading haiku I think ... even a bit like our yesterday's prompt, but that's my feeling as I read this prompt for today, being lazy.

I hope it will inspire you to write your own haiku.
