Carpe Diem #796 Camels

Dear Haijin, visitors and travelers,

We are on our way to the source of The Nile with our full sails papyrus boat discovering the beauty of the region were The Nile is flowing.

Today our prompt is Camels and I think that needs no further introduction. For this episode, a short one, I have chosen to share an image and a haiku to inspire you (as I did for example in our Time Glass feature).

Credits: Camel
And here is the haiku to inspire you. It's one from my archives. It was written in August 2013.

through sands of time
I walk towards a caravanserai
to refresh my mind

And another one by Menohir, a haiku poet active on All Poetry.

This episode is NOW OPEN for your submissions and will remain open until August 17th at noon (CET). I will (try to) publish our next episode, Lake Nasser, later on. For now ... have fun!

  1. Got in to late from my vacation to post my camel haiku. If you can add it that would be great. If not just delete this comment. Thanks
