Carpe Diem #1615 Tan Renga Challenge Month 2019 (19) Morning Glory

Dear Haijin, visitors and travelers,

February is running towards its end and there are only two days left. So today is our penultimate episode of our Tan Renga Challenge Month. I have chosen a beautiful haiku by a not so well known haiku poet, Kyoroku. Kyoroku was a disciple of Basho. Maybe you can remember that special feature "A Leafless Tree" here at CDHK. In one of the episodes of that feature I shared a few haiku by Kyoroku. One of those haiku I will share here again to create a Tan Renga Hineri with.

The goal of today is to first create the 2nd stanza followed by a three lined stanza and a two lined stanza. Here is the haiku to work with:

ah! morning glories
are at their best while I chant
my morning prayers

Morning Glory
An awesome haiku to work with I think. So have fun!

This episode is NOW OPEN for your submissions and will remain open until March 5th at noon (CET). I will try to publish our new episode later on.
