Carpe Diem Haiku Kai is the place to be if you like to write and share Japanese poetry forms like haiku and tanka. It’s a warmhearted family of haiku poets created by Chèvrefeuille, a Dutch haiku poet. Japanese poetry is the poetry of nature and it gives an impression of a moment as short as the sound of a pebble thrown into water. ++ ALL WORKS PUBLISHED ARE COPYRIGHTED AND THE RIGHTS BELONG TO THE AUTHORS ++ !!! Carpe Diem Extra June 12th 2017 New exclusive CDHK e-book "Furu Ike Ya"
Dear Haijin, visitors and travelers,
A while ago I did a call for submissions of "frog"-haiku to create a new exclusive CDHK e-book. It is my pleasure to announce to you that "Furu Ike Ya" is now available for download at our Kai. You can find the link to the download at the right side of our Kai. The image used however is not the cover of this new exclusive e-book.
I have gathered your submitted haiku and tanka and have tried to bring it in a nice e-book. In this new CDHK e-book you will find not only haiku written by our family members, but also haiku by a few classical haiku poets, an article by Jane Reichhold and a small essay about frogs.
I hope you all like this new exclusive CDHK e-book.
Namasté,
Chèvrefeuille, your host

ReplyDeleteA very nice compilation of contributor's finest work. It was fun comparing the work of classical poets and Jane Reichhold with those of our local members.
ReplyDeleteYoga originated in India, i have never heard of Tibetan Yoga, and the poses you have shown are the same in yoga.
ReplyDeleteChèvrefeuille,
ReplyDeleteThank you for including my haiku and for all the effort you put into producing the e-book on frogs. I am enjoying reading it.

Thank you so much for this ebook, wonderful both in content and thoughtful layout. It was exciting to witness such a wide variety of haiku and other poems referring to frogs, all in one place.
ReplyDeleteChèvrefeuille, thank you for putting together a beautiful and inspiring e-book on a frog theme. It is satisfying to read others' contributions and be included in this project!
