Carpe Diem Haiku Kai is the place to be if you like to write and share Japanese poetry forms like haiku and tanka. It’s a warmhearted family of haiku poets created by Chèvrefeuille, a Dutch haiku poet. Japanese poetry is the poetry of nature and it gives an impression of a moment as short as the sound of a pebble thrown into water. ++ ALL WORKS PUBLISHED ARE COPYRIGHTED AND THE RIGHTS BELONG TO THE AUTHORS ++ !!! Carpe Diem Extra 2014 ends
Dear haijin, visitors and travelers,
I have managed to create the new prompt-list for January. This month all our prompts are classical kigo (seasonwords) for New Year. New Year is in ancient Japan a season which last from December 15th to January 15th.
You can find our new prompt-list in the menu above. I am looking forward to this new month of Carpe Diem Haiku Kai.
Namaste,
Chèvrefeuille
PS. Our logo for January 2015 is a reprise logo which I have used in one of our earlier years.
