Dear Haijin, visitors and travelers,
I am a bit early with posting this episode of our Tan Renga Challenge Month, because of the fact that I am in the nightshift, so I don''t know if I have enough time later on today to post. There are a few features (e.g. Oku no Hosomichi) which had been published now, but ... during lack of time ... those features have to wait. I am sorry ...
Today our Tan Renga is started by JRB of JRB''s Haiku five-seven-five. JRB wrote this haiku in response of our prompt Shell last October. So here it is ...

A wonderful haiku accompanied by a nice image of Shells. So ... make this Tan Renga complete and share your completed Tan Renga with us all here at Carpe Diem Haiku Kai. Here is my attempt to complete this Tan Renga.
by the shore
discarded lovers
broken shells (JRB)

broken shells (JRB)
beneath my bare feet
a heart in the sand - heartbreaking (Chèvrefeuille)
a heart in the sand - heartbreaking (Chèvrefeuille)
To complete this Tan Renga I associated on ''discarded lovers'' ... it's a sad scene, but ... sadness also belongs to our emotions. Life isn't always what you dream of or wished for ... life can be tough.
This episode of Carpe Diem's Tan Renga Challenge Month will stay open for your submissions until November 11th 11.59 AM (CET). !! This episode is open for your submissions at 7.00 PM (CET) !!
Have fun, be inspired and share your complete Tan Renga with our Haiku Kai.
Chèvrefeuille I thought you would enjoy this haibun from Patrick at our Ligo haibun challenge, somehow I think you will! I see one or two from our challenge are here, will try to mention Carpe Diem often. http://paulscribbles.wordpress.com/2013/11/07/ligo-haibun-challenge-picture-week/

ReplyDeleteLoved the completion of that piece Kristjaan. My heart resides at the shore no matter where I live
ReplyDeleteYour completion is beautiful and poignant, Kristjaan.
ReplyDeleteThank you for giving my haiku such a wonderful completion. Broken hearts were where where my mind was and you ran the baton down that beach like an Olympian!
