Carpe Diem Haiku Kai is the place to be if you like to write and share Japanese poetry forms like haiku and tanka. It’s a warmhearted family of haiku poets created by Chèvrefeuille, a Dutch haiku poet. Japanese poetry is the poetry of nature and it gives an impression of a moment as short as the sound of a pebble thrown into water. ++ ALL WORKS PUBLISHED ARE COPYRIGHTED AND THE RIGHTS BELONG TO THE AUTHORS ++ !!! Carpe Diem Extra #15-2015 "final call for kukai submissions"
Dear Haijin, visitors and travelers,
Our first Kukai "Wisteria" is running towards its end. You have until Wednesday April 15th 11:55 PM (CET) to submit your haiku (new and not published earlier) for our first Kukai ... this is the final call for submissions.
Than another thing which I will share here: Hamish of From-My-Forest will be your host for my weekend off which will occur on April 17th until April 19th. He will follow the prompt-list in his own wonderful particular way and I really think it will be a joy to read his posts.
I also can tell you that Georgia of Bastet and Sekhmet's Library will be your host in May as I also will take a weekend off.
And then a last question: Do you have ideas, suggestions for our prompts in the upcoming months? Please share them in the Prompt Suggestions part in the above menu or in the comments field under this post.
Remember that Carpe Diem Haiku Kai is a family of haiku poets and therefore I also need your input to make CDHK even better than it already is.
Wish you all already a wonderful weekend,
Chèvrefeuille, your host

ReplyDeleteHow wonderful to see Hamish and Bastet on the calendar for April and May -- this is very exciting! Thank you, both of you, for joining in! Great stuff! :D
