Carpe Diem #956 stars

Dear Haijin, visitors and travelers,

Welcome at a new episode of Carpe Diem THE daily haiku meme on the Internet. We are exploring modern kigo for spring as gathered by Jane Reichhold in her "A Dictionbary of Haiku" and are trying to create haiga from our haiku (or tank-art from our tanka).
The prompt for today is stars and here are a few examples of haiku by Jane to "explain" this prompt:

a morning moon
nearly touching Venus
with my finger

darkness
dawn light enters
filled with stars

faithful 'till sunrise
of all the heavenly lights
only the morning star

morning stars
alone with me
the beach

And here is my humble attempt to create a haiga inspired on "stars":

Enjoy this episode and let it inspire you to create a haiku, haiga or tanka, tank-art. Have fun!

This episode is open for your submissions tonight at 7.00 PM (CET) and will remain open until April 19th at noon (CET). I will try to publish our new episode, lake, later on. For now ... have fun, be inspired and share.
