Carpe Diem's Tan Renga Challenge Month #X, Atreyee's "The Soul drenched in Love"

Dear Haijin, visitors and travelers,

I am late with this Tan Renga Challenge episode, sorry, I am in the nightshift, so I hadn't time to post it earlier. I am also a bit behind with commenting on all your wonderful posts ... so don't be sad if I haven't commented yet on your posts. I hope to catch up.

Today our Tan Renga Challenge is started by a haiku written by Atreyee of Brew me a cuppa. It's her response on our prompt Buddha, of last October. I think it's a great haiku and I hope it will inspire to write a second stanza. Have fun and be inspired. Here is the haiku for starters by Atreyee:

the Soul drenched in love
seeks nothing- gives everything
finds Buddha within

A really nice haiku.

And this is my attempt to complete this Tan Renga:

the soul drenched in love
seeks nothing- gives everything
finds Buddha within                                         (Atreyee)

walking the labyrinth of the spirit
in deep silence - I find my path                        (Chèvrefeuille)

A nice completion I think, it's very much in touch with the haiku by Atreyee, but also very much in touch with my own spirituality.

Carpe Diem's Tan Renga Challenge #17, Atreyee's "Palette of Colours"

Dear Haijin, visitors and travelers,

Another week has flown by ... I had a busy week and hadn't always the time to prepare our daily prompts and other features, but I have succeeded. We are almost ready with our renovation of two rooms in our house so finally I will have some more time to be your host here.

This week's Tan Renga Challenge is started with a haiku by Atreyee. It was one of her responses on our prompt Chooyoo (Chrysanthemum Festival) and the goal is to complete the Tan Renga with your second stanza inspired on the first stanza (the haiku) by Atreyee. To post your completion you have to copy and paste the first stanza into your post and make it complete with your 2nd stanza. (By the way the first stanza is 5-7-5 syllables and the 2nd 7-7 syllables).

Ikebana with Chrysanthemum

Here is the first stanza (5-7-5) by Atreyee:

Palette of colours
Chrysanthemums bestowing
fragrance everywhere

A nice haiku with an awesome imagery hidden in it. All the wonderful colours of Chrysanthemums and their fragrance caught in a haiku. In this haiku we find two senses, sight and smell, so in a way this haiku gives me a vision of a garden with all Chrysanthemums in different colors and their overwhelming fragrance.

So let me try to complete this Tan Renga with a second stanza to make it complete.

Palette of colours
Chrysanthemums bestowing
fragrance everywhere                                  (Atreyee)

rainbow stretches above the meadow
the sound of rain in the dusk                        (Chèvrefeuille, your host)

I think with this completion of the Tan Renga I have made it into a wonderful one by adding a third sense, namely hearing.
