Carpe Diem #263, Goa Sunset

Dear Haijin, visitors and travelers,

What a joy to share all those wonderful music pieces by Karunesh and as I see and read all your beautiful posts, then I think you all do like the music of Karunesh. So here is another music video for your inspiration. Become one with the music. Go with the flow and let inspiration flow from your heart ...

this was the earlier video which I used

This piece of music is called Goa Sunset and it's from Karunesh's latest album "Colors of the East". The first video is made by UnknownMStyle. The second one is made by Tukkertje (this was the first video I had used for this episode)

It inspired me to write this haiku:

flaming red sunset
brings the coolness of the night
nightingale's song

nightingale's song
resonates through the midsummernight -
far away thunderstorm

Awesome set ... I know it's immodest to say that of my own haiku, but I think this set is really wonderful. Well ... sometimes even a haiku master can praise his own work.

This episode of Carpe Diem will stay on 'till August 7th 11.59 AM (CET) and I will post our next episode, Keeper of Mystery, later on today around 8.00 PM (CET). Have fun be inspired and share your haiku inspired on Goa Sunset with us all here on Carpe Diem. !! Goa Sunset is open for submissions at 8.00 PM (CET) !!

  1. We will allow you to praise your own work this one time, Haiku Master, but once is enough! :)

  5. I'm so confused. The inspiration is the video, right? As opposed to the title? I've been writing from the video without regard for it's title. This one has sunset in the title but sunset is only just beginning at the end of the video. So I wrote about what I heard and saw. Everyone else wrote about sunset. Am I doing it wrong? lol. I didn't even look up Goa to see if it meant something which it apparently does.

    1. The music video is meant for inspiration, but if you are inspired by only the title? Than it also is a great inspiration. It's the goal of the music video to help you to become inspired, but the video itself doesn't have to be used ... it's just the feeling the sound the scene ... just as I said in the posts "lean back listen to the music and let it bring you inspiration". Music can be a great source of inspiration as a picture or photo also is, or a book ... just feel free to use the inspirational energy the music gives you ... the music is just for inspirational purposes. I hope that I have said it right, (As you know English isn't my maiden language).

    2. Maybe it's because of changing the video, I had first another music video for Goa Sunset, I will share that also here again.
