Carpe Diem Time Glass #17, Dance

Dear Haijin, visitors and travelers,

It's time again for an episode of our time challenging feature Time Glass in which the goal is to write an all new haiku (or tanka) inspired on a prompt and an image within 24 hours. This week I love to challenge you with DANCE and a wonderful image and this week the extra task is to write an all new haiku (or tanka) following the classical rules. For haiku you can find the classical rules in our above Carpe Diem Lecture 1 and for Tanka the only rule you have to follow is the classical syllables count 5-7-5-7-7 and maybe our last episode of Carpe Diem's "Ask Jane" can help you to write a Tanka following the classical rules.

The only thing left now is a wonderful image .... here it is:

Well ... what do you think ... will this inspire you? If it inspires you than please submit your classical haiku or classical tanka within 24 hours.

This Time Glass episode is open for your submissions tonight at 7.00 PM (CET) and will remain open for only 24 hours until Tuesday January 13th 7.00 PM (CET). Have fun! Pick up the challenge and share your all new poem with us all.
