Carpe Diem #958 muddy road(s)

Dear Haijin, visitors and travelers,

It looks like this month isn't easy or the theme doesn't feel well that's of course possible. Haiga isn't giving that much joy to you as it does to me. Well ... I cannot please everyone, but I just love to do this month on haiga.

Today I have another nice prompt for you muddy road(s) and this also is extracted from the modern saijiki by Jane Reichhold. And it's just a joy to share her haiku with you.

I remember that I posted in an earlier post here at CDHK a haiga in which this theme, this prompt muddy road(s) has been used. I couldn't find it again, but that doesn't matter. I created a new haiga on this theme muddy road.

It was really a pleasure to create this episode for you all and I hope I have inspired you. Have fun!

This episode is NOW OPEN for your submissions and will remain open until April 21st at noon (CET). I will try to publish our new episode, a new Tokubetsudesu in which I will tell you a little bit more about our runner-up of the "time" kukai, Celestine, later on.

  1. I yhink the haiga idea is wonderful, and hope with all my heart no-one thinks any different. We all had a shock at the tactics of those few some weeks back who did such harm for no reason which nearly cost us CDHK. I think we have some wonderful haiga this month. Now some more good news... My new restaurant is opening in Pecs, Hungary and I will start a haiku iociety there, with activities o ce a week. Of coyrse we will all link up to CDHk daily and customers will be able to link haiku anytime they want even if not in club.

    1. What a wonderful idea - a haiku restaurant!

    2. Congrats, Hamish on your new restaurant. It is a good and lovely idea to start a haiku society for the customers. I am with you in spirit, my friend.

      All the best.

    3. Good luck with your restaurant Hamish and what an awesome idea to start a haiku society at that place.
