Carpe Diem #422, Kichijo-ji (temple 63)

Dear O-Henro ... Haijin, visitors and travelers,

Still going oin strong along the Shikoku temple trail ... exhausted by our pilgrimage and the constant thoughts and meditation. All those wonderful paths and roads we have crossed and the beauty of all the temples we have seen already ... Today we will visit Kichijo-ji (temple 63) ... this temple is devoted to Vaisravana or Bishamonten. He is one of the Seven Gods of Good Fortune and was the great Warrior who guarded Buddha at the places where he was preaching.

I will post our next episode, part 8 of Paulo Coelho's pilgrimage to Santiago De Compostela, later on. For now ... have fun, be inspired and share.

  2. Very powerful haiku there - again. I think that one is a textbook haiku for learners. Well done as always!
