Dear Haijin, visitors and travelers,
I thought last night "it's time to make another episode of our Special feature "make the haiku complete" and I thought "and I will make it a real challenge". Therefore I have chosen an unique challenge for you, a haiku of which I am only giving the second line ... so you have to make the haiku complete by adding the first line and the third line.
Here is the challenge:
.........................
mists over the foreign highlands
.........................
Well ... it's not an easy one, and I am going to make it a bit more of a challenge. You have to use the classical syllables-count (this second is 7 syllables) and another kigo (seasonword), in the second line the "mists" refers to autumn ...

So ... a challenge it is ... and I made it even that difficult that I myself couldn't make this one complete immediately ... so I wish you all good luck and a lot of fun of course.
This episode of "Carpe Diem's Make the Haiku Complete" is NOW OPEN for your submissions and will remain open until June 19th at noon (CET). Have fun, be inspired and share your completed haiku with us all here at Carpe Diem Haiku Kai.
Was I only supposed to write one?
